So I just took delivery of my new TiVo system - Roamio Plus and 2 Tivo Minis - but I have not yet received my cable card (Frontier Fios). They said they had to ship it to me, so hoping it is new.
While I am waiting, I am contemplating my control scheme. Since the TiVo is such a different beast (in a good way) compared to the old Motorola DVR's, I am rethinking how I control it. Previously, each setup had its own Harmony Remote (simple, base model types). Now I have TiVo remotes, an iOS app, 3rd party remotes, and even other iOS remote apps that you can customize. For the Living Room, I only have the TV and a Mini, so the TiVo remote will work well. The Living Room's Harmony remote can go to the bedroom where I have a TV, Mini, and AppleTV. The basement is a whole other monster... TV, AV Receiver, TiVo, AppleTV, game console... but it has a Harmony remote that can likely handle all that. Just don't know if I WANT to do it that way.
So... how are you doing it? And how SWMBO compatible is your scheme?
