We have an old Tivo HD, probably 8 years or so. It's now beginning to pixilate badly and the signal strength is fine. We're pretty sure the drive is just worn our. Anyway we are going to buy a Roamio and I have some questions.
1. Since our CC, from Comcast after 2 tries, works perfectly can i move it into the new unit? It's an M card. Our old card acted up and when I picked up the new one at our local office, it was older than the one I had. Since this one works well, I'd like to keep it.
2. If we also purchase a mini for our other tv, on another floor, can I give back the Comcast cable box itself?
3. Does the mini require anything other than picking up the signal from the main unit? We are going to hardwire the main unit.
4. If I buy from Amazon, which sells the unit about 30% less than anyone else am I still able to get service plans or deals from Tivo? They know I'm a longitme customer.
