tivo mini - network too slow - v69

i have a tivo roamio connected directly via ethernet to my router downstairs, and in 2 other rooms in the house on the 2nd and 3rd floors via moca . whenever we try to play something it constantly says "network too slow" / v69 error every few minutes



i've seen a few other posts where people said they disconnected an ethernet cable to the roamio, and another where they said something about switching static IP - not a technie, so don't quite understand that



i'm hesitant to try anything to disrupt my service as it literally took over 10 calls to tivo, a replacement unit, and a moca bridge to finally get the system working at all, but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!
