I currently use a Tivo HD with OTA on main home theater setup. All streaming services done through Apple TV. I occasionally watch TV in the bedroom for which I airplay to a 2nd Apple TV using a slingbox 350 (remote response is laggy but otherwise works very well). We don't watch a ton of TV so have not had many issues with conflicts or space. I have been partially waiting to see what Apple did with the next Apple TV but who knows when that will happen. So while I'm a tech loving guy and like having modern equipment I'm not actually sure if the Roamio will have a significant improvement on our TV watching experience. I guess using a Mini in the bedroom would be nice but the sling box solution works well and has the advantage of being able to stream to any device in home or outside. Am I missing something important?
