I have TiVo 1P set for New only Mythbusters on Science channel 1102.
I saw in “My Shows” today’s episode had “!” & said will be deleted w/in 24 hours.
My HDD is only 39% full. I check To Do list & see 29 episodes set to record on Sunday! WTF?! There is a Mythbusters marathon on Science channel. So, I assume TiVo is planing on deleting the new episode recorded today once the 10 episode limit is reached in under 24 hours. I double check & in the guide each marathon episode tomorrow does NOT state “New” & each says originally aired… & gives date which are all over a decade ago. So, TiVo is being told these are not new yet, plans to record them anyway ignoring my settings. I force a connection with the server & successful yet, no change. TiVo still says will delete my new episode in <24 hrs. & still has 29 rerun episodes set to record tomorrow.
I shut off my system to post this & as I typed, I turned it back on to triple check that marathon reruns do not say ‘new’ either in guide or in To Do list & to my surprise they are all gone. TiVo no longer is set to record any of these reruns! However, it still says will delete that new episode recorded today in <24 hours.
What happened?
My TiVo has been operating more than 28 days.
