Why Does Tivo Roamio Record Episodes if a Streaming Option Exists

Is there a way to stop the Tivo from recording an episode of a series that already has a streaming option for that episode.

It's aggravating to have the Tivo use Hard Drive Space when it does not need to or to constantly have to use Clear<<Delete Recordings and replace with streaming

Basically if the episode can found streaming do not record it to begin with...Why would you?
