I love everything about my Roamio Pro but one thing; the remote.
It's not that I dislike the layout, it's the materials it's made of. The shiny black plastic the remote's body is made of always feels slippery to me and I just can't stand holding it. Why on Earth do electronics companies insist on using this cheap black shiny plastic on surfaces that you have to touch all the time? I wish the entire remote was made out of the material that is surrounding the keys on the front of it.
Is there any other remote I can use with my Roamio Pro that isn't made out of fingerprint magnet slick plastic? I looked at the Slide Pro but it too has this awful black shiny plastic body. What about a Harmony? Or is there a remote out there designed specifically for TiVo? Ideally it would work with the Roamio Pro's RF receiver.
