It may be that every time that Elliot hears "E corporation" he flips it to "Evil Corp" in his own mind but those people talking are not all in only in his mind.
It was obvious that the voice behind the Mr. Moneybags mask was Mr. Robot. Maybe Elliot hears that differently, too. Being that he had no idea about the demand it had to be fairly real.
My bet is that of course, Elliot only fell a few feet to the beach.
- When Elliot hears "EVIL" Corp it's all in his head
- Mr. Robot only lives in Elliot's imagination
