This is a new behavior, and it is infuriating.
I told TiVo manually to record a Women's World Cup match, live. That is, I searched for the show, and asked to record, specifying 1.5 hours of extra time, because it's a sports event. TiVo warned me about conflicts, and told me it would record it, and would not record other things.
I manually chose this recording, it's not a season pass, it's a one-time event, it should be at the top of my priority list, right? Well, after the game, I come home and find the game was NOT recorded. I go into history, and find that it was cancelled, due to "conflict". I can get information, and it tells me that 4 other stupid, super-low priority season shows, which were already at their keep limit, trumped this manually selected recording.
What gives???? TiVo never used to do this, but it has been doing this repeatedly ever since the "OnePass" update came around. I can't trust this thing long enough to leave the house anymore!
Apoplectically,
John
