I own a Tivo Roamio base unit and am using a cable card and tuning adapter. My cable provider is Time Warner in Rochester, NY.
I do not receive audio on Switched Digital Video Channels. The video and subtitles come in perfectly but no audio. I have tried audio via HDMI, Optical Cable, as well as regular stereo left/right jacks.
I have been on the phone with Time Warner and Tivo and discussed the problem in detail. Tivo phone reps have confirmed the problem lies on their end and that their engineers are working on a fix.
However, I have been told this for the past 2 months now and the latest software release didn't fix the problem.
When will this issue be resolved? Please someone from Tivo please provide an answer.
