Figured the series (as it turned out) finale deserved its own thread.
I was very disappointed how they handled the fact that the show wasn't renewed for one more season. It was, in the moment, very confusing. I didn't know if it was a fantasy happening as they were dying on the floor or a real flash forward. Since watching, I have found out that it's supposed to be a flash forward, so fine. 20 seconds of a reveal of what life will be like for Beckett and Castle. Close curtain.
As to the head of the Mystery Writer's Club being the main villain, THAT was out of the blue. Of course the whole storyline was so confusing to me that I really didn't care who the head of LocSat was, and what did they do that was bad again?
I feel like the producers owe us an hour saying goodbye to all the characters just to see what direction they go from here. Maybe a flash-forward murder mystery special. But I don't really care that much.
