Two days ago I turned my TV on and was greeted with the green screen. It stayed that way all day long, and a call to tech support ended up with no solution. I couldn't even get the unit to accept a kickstart code, but I might have been doing it wrong.
I decided to bite the bullet and I ran out and got a Bolt. I love the Bolt, but there are two things it doesn't have: the first is the lifetime plan that my now-dead Premiere XL4 had. The second is all my shows!
In an ideal scenario, I would get my XL4 running just long enough to grab some of the shows off of it and put them onto the Bolt, then sell the XL4 to someone who could get it fully working again. What are the odds of both (or either) things happening? Nil?
Any advice on this green screen would be greatly appreciated.
