No Tivo Playback with Windows 10 Anniversary Update & Windows Media Player

I've been using Windows Media Player on Windows 10 to play Tivo files transferred onto my PC without any problems. I never had to download any codecs - WMP played the Tivo files out of the box. However, since I updated Windows 10 to Windows 10 Anniversary Update, WMP no longer plays the Tivo files. I have no picture or sound. Is this just me or does anyone else had problems with playback using WMP and Windows 10 Anniversary Update? Please note this is specifically with Windows 10 Anniversary Update - playback was fine with Windows 10 - and Windows 7 - prior to the Anniversary Update.
