Hi all: I have had a Tivo premier set to SD regular menus for some time, Tivo has worked fine. I recently switched to HD menus so I can use Amazon prime video. The HD display is very blurry, the background is snowy and when I switch from one menu page to the next there is a lot of ghosting. Its very noticeable. I would say the Tivo is "usable" in HD mode, but barely.
When I switch the Tivo back to SD menus - everything is 100% fine. I had a service call with Tivo, they checked aspect ratio 1080i matched TV, they checked signal strength (ranges from 93-95%) and a variety of other issues, they were not able to resolve. Other devices work perfectly fine on the TV like the Sony Blu-ray player. I have swapped HMDI cables. I have swapped coax cables. Same issue. Television is Panasonic TC-P54G25.
