Unable to download from Tivo Stream

I bought a used Tivo Stream on Amazon about 2 weeks ago and just today had the opportunity to hook it up and test it out. So after plugging it in and opening the app, it recognized the TS but wouldn't let me associate it as it was saying this TS was already associated with an account. So after a call to Tivo and with them telling me there was no way to move it to my account without the previous user releasing it, I contact the Amazon seller to let him know the issue. The seller wrote me and advised he contacted Tivo and everything was good and gave a case number. So I call back with the case number and they finally associate the TS with my account. Everything looks good, it is recognized in the app and the white light is solid, but then I try to actually download some shows and it won't let me. And they're not copy protected either. I get the same error each time: "Problem downloading. Unable to download [insert show here] Please try again. Error T[0x502]." If anyone knows what the issue is and can help, please let me know.
