Things started when my live TV shows starting pixelating. After troubleshooting cable and several restarts of the TiVo I'm not sure it is a cable issue now...and here's why. Upon unplugging and plugging the TiVo it would not power up, this has not happened before so I was thinking that it was a bad power supply. Then I used a different TiVo power cable and it came on. I then switched the power cables back to the original one and it powered on this time so I walked away. I came back hours later and it was still on the initial welcome screen. I cycled the power again and it came up fine this time. Live TV and new recordings are still pixelated though old recordings play just fine.
Does this sound like a bad/failing power supply?
Does this sound like a bad/failing hard drive?
Something else?
The unit is the Series 3 (the one with THX and the OLED display).
