Tivo Premiere locks up

I think I may have a failing drive, but wanted to try to make sure that's all it is before getting a new one. Basically, the unit just freezes: picture still shows but is frozen, no response to remote etc. Hard reboot fixes it for a while (and it works normally during that time), but then does it again.

Is this a reasonable symptom of bad drive?
