I was waiting for the TiVo announcement before I made a choice but now that it looks like the Bolt plus is coming it is time to make a choice. My current deal is that I have 2 HD TiVos (with lifetime service) with cablecards on 2 TVs. I want to add a TiVo to a 3rd TV in the house. I do not have any UHD TVs and am not particularly concerned with it right now. Our storage needs are not a ton and do not typically run into space problems even with one of the HD TiVos being the original size.
So what would you do? Try to sell the 2 current TiVos and get a Bolt or Bolt plus with 2 minis? Something else like a Roamio to get more current? Try to find another older gen box with lifetime from ebay? Any chance when the new ones come out on Thursday that there will be any promos for current customers?
