ts always nice to see a more Shaw centric episode and certainly the Samantha/Sameen Shaw that we first met a couple of years ago is a different person than last nights Shaw.
I like seeing Sarah Shahi emote more but Im not sure that I liked Shaw having her head turned so far by hunky number of the week, Tomas the international thief.
(Maybe its me, but I didnt think he was good looking enough.)
However, it did lead to some great exchanges between Ms. Shaw and Ms. Groves.
Still, it was decent plot, with them being sent to steal the Marburg virus and an arranged double cross.
And the stakes got even higher when Samaritan sent in the Relevant numbers team, which included Shaws former trainee (who had almost the same conversation that Cole had with Shaw about questioning Research).
Meanwhile, Finch and Root went off on their own mission to sabotage the Samaritan backed Tablets for School Kids project.
I understand Finchs discomfort with the outcome but I see no reason not to believe that Samaritan had nefarious plans for those tablets.
Fusco and Reese didn't have a lot to do here but I did like:
Reese: "Highly trained government assassins with orders to kill."
Fusco: "It's not cool that you ask me to this stuff with you, man. Not cool!"
Still, there are a number of questions raise in this episode:
Are we going to see more of Grice and Brooks? (Im leaning towards yes.)
Who would have gotten those virus samples if Grice and Brooks succeeded ? Control or Decima?
If Decima, what would have been Samaritans plan for it?
How long will take for Samaritan to reconstruct that photo?
But the biggest question I have, is Harold having an ongoing dialogue with the Machine?
It seemed to me that he had a conversation with it about the tablet mission.
