I have Roamio, getting TV via an outside antenna. I want to switch from DSL to U-verse Internet and phone. I am not getting TV as I am quite happy with my free antenna.
I connect to Roamio via my DSL wireless router for any programming updates and other streaming. Will I have a problem if I switch to the new U-verse router? (I know that TiVo doesn't work with U-verse TV, but I am getting Internet/Phone only.) I want to connect to TiVo via the new U-verse router.
I read older posts that say it is ok, but I want to make sure as those do not refer to Roamio and its built-in wireless Wi-Fi. I am not that technical, yet I'd think that connecting via the wireless router should be no different if it is what I have now or a new one from U-verse.
Are there any issues or gotchas I should be aware of? Thank you.
