Ok, I am looking for suggestions. I have a series 2 ST TiVo and a newer Premier XL. I have them both hooked up to a wireless network via TiVo wireless g adapters. They both see each other and allow me to view programming on the other one. I can even select to start a transfer and it will let me start to view it but it only transfers about 1 second of the show. Then it just sits their and eventually it will cancel because it says my connection is to slow. However I am able to stream on demand and Netflix on the premier with no problem. So I finally got annoyed and went and bought power line adapters, but when tested there speed was slower than my wifi. I have an asus rt66 gigabit router. So I returned the power line and purchased 2 wireless bridges. When I connect my notebook computer to the bridges and test them on speed test.net I get download speeds around 40 Mbps and upload speeds around 10 mbps...however the tivos still will not transfer more than 1 second of a program. I checked all my settings and they seem to be right. Sharing is enabled etc, I have done numerous boots and reboots of my whole wireless network, but I can't figure out for the life of me why they will not transfer shows from one another. Please help!!!!! This is driving me nuts...
