Are shows transferred to PC deleted from Tivo?

I'm new to TTG and have a basic question. If I use Tivo Desktop or kmttg to transfer a show from my Tivo to my PC, does this MOVE it to the PC, or COPY it to the PC? Meaning, is the recording left on the Tivo or not?
