Recently I've observed a problem with Season Passes that have been converted to OnePasses.
Here're some screen shots of the problem.
This indicates that "Ancient Aliens" is set to record on 2 channels. Note that these episodes are not noted as "New."
Now here's the OnePass information.
Note that the "Record" is set to "New only."
So I opened a ticket with TiVo support and included these screen shots.
I got the oddest response:
Anyway, I replied back to them trying to clarify
I later observed a similar situation on my other TiVo.
And here's where it gets weird. TiVo Support's response:
Is this just a problem in the presentation of the "To Do" list? It certainly is confusing. I worry that the scheduler may avoid recording another program because of these spurious entries.

Currently we may see these episodes appearing because you have the OnePass set on all channels instead of HD only. If you go into the OnePass settings you will just want to change the field Channel from All to HSTRYHD which will also show the HD symbol next to it. Then if you check the Upcoming or your To-Do list you will see the recordings listed correctly. Please contact us again if you have any questions or concerns and we would be happy to assist you. It's like they were looking at a different problem.

Thanks. This doesn't answer either of my two questions. I apologize that I can't see my original submission. I agree that I have "the OnePass set on all channels instead of HD only" as you noted but I have "Get in HD" set to "If possible". Further I have "Record" set to "New only". I would have expected that these 2 settings would have excluded recording ALL of the episodes shown in the screen shots I included. This is an old Season Pass that has been converted to a OnePass. I have not changed it. How can I have the new OnePass function as the old Season Pass used to?TiVo Support replied:
Try deleting it and recreating it as a OnePass. It sounds like this may have just been a bug.I deleted and recreated the OnePass and that seems to have cleared it up.

I have more OnePasses that were converted from Season Passes that are misbehaving. On my "TiVo in the Den" my "To Do" list showed a rerun of the "The Good Wife" scheduled for recording. I canceled that recording. It also shows a rerun of "Battle Creek" that is scheduled for recording on 5/31. I left it if you want to look at it. Do I need to delete and recreate ALL my converted OnePasses? That is a huge effort. Do you have a tool to do that or a different recommendation? Are others having this problem? I've seen it on both of my TiVo Premieres. It turns out that the "Battle Creek" on 5/31 did not record.
And here's where it gets weird. TiVo Support's response:
There will not be a method to mass edit OnePass content, we will want to start by rescheduling these OnePasses to verify that the problem does not continue when we have specified our new changes. Thank you for taking the time to contact TiVo today and definitely contact us again if you have any further inquiries. Have a great day! What are the "new changes?"
