Thinking of upgrading from my Series 3 and HD XL boxes to Roamio Plus and a couple minis.
Bottom line, minis just allow me to get around a cablebox (watching live tv all channels I subscribe to) in each room and works using a tuner off the main tivo. Can record and watch shows off of the main tivo (just like having a tivo in each room). Is this correct?
Also, thinking of going the MoCA route. My cable line setup is a little "funky" There is a splitter on the outside of my house. One line (out of the splitter) goes to the basement where the main tivo is and the other goes to the 3rd floor where the minis will be. Is this going to result in "choppy" videos or any other problems?
