newbe w/ setup questions

just purchased a tivo roamio ota and need connection help. I only have 2 HDMI ports on my tv. I have a blue ray dvd player in one and my macbook pro in the other. I have read where you can install a hdmi switch or splitter. Any recommendations? What would be the best setup?
