I purchased a Roamio OTA as a gift for a friend (when they had the $299 with lifetime market test). I called Tivo and got a transfer reference number and she made the call and transfer 4 days ago. Box still shows up on my tivo.com account and ios app and I can still manage it. Tivo customer service says it has been transferred "internally" on their end and can take weeks to drop off my account. They said she should be able to manage it through her account although she hasn't set up a tivo.com account or ios app yet. Does this make any sense? Doesn't seem right that two accounts can manage the same box. I know I have to have her try it but she hasn't had time yet.
