Vizio Sound Bar and Fast Forwarding

I have a Vizio Sound Bar (S4251w-B4) and use with my Tivo Premiere. Been having having problems since I updated the firmware on the sound bar (1017). When I use the 30 sec skip or fast forward thru commercials I will hear "popping or crackling" sounds and then Lose the Dolby Digital on the sound bar. Vizio claims that this from the Tivo. Anyone else out there use a sound bar with Tivo Premiere and have problems when fast forwarding? This very annoying. Could the Optical cable be Bad? I have no problems with sound bar when watching anything that I don't have to fast forward thru.
