Halt and Catch Fire S02E07 7/12/15 *spoilers*

No episode threads lately? Anyone still watching? This is still my go-to (first to watch) show on Sunday night. Partly because I am intrigued by how this small group of people seems to making every important tech invention ever. So now Gordon is Michael Dell? Good for him! So I'm assuming one of the Clark kids will create facebook and the other will build the first iphone.

I'm kinda hoping Joe actually does go to California and leaves the show. He's a bit of a relic from the first season and grinds the story to a "halt" whenever he appears - to create some drama, of course.

But I like the story and I like it being centered on the women now. Cameron seems infantile at times but she's probably not the first moody CEO of a tech startup. And there may be a mutiny at Mutiny now that the guys found out that Cameron got them to work for stock in lieu of pay but they apparently never bothered to ask how much of the company they owned. Until now, when they pieced together the contract! I also wasn't clear if the gang had 1% each or 1% collectively. Seemed like 1% each but that left nothing, or next to nothing, for Donna and Boz. Since Cam has 90% that doesn't leave much to go around for everyone else. Is Donna working there for 1% - or 0%? I didn't realize that.

Gordo's disease seems to be getting worse very fast. His business partners may decide to go on without him once they get more cash flow. Right now his main function seems to be serving as the "visionary" (but they all know the vision now), and the banker to buy their parts. So when they can afford it, unless Gordon has a good lawyer who had these guys sign some iron-clad contracts off-screen, it seems that they won't need him anymore and will view him as a liability. Just like Donna's mom already does.
