Roamio not recording some shows

Ok, been a big user of TivO for over a decade and have 3 units. I have a new Roamio and am having a number of problems having it record new shows. On My older units I sometimes ran into this problem when shows were not marked new and I only had record new selected in my season pass. This happens more with PBS and BBC shows because I think they may be new to US but not 'new'. But I am seeing it far more often now - even had several cases where the showed premiered this week and it was not marked to record in the One Pass. Now the odd things is I was playing with my old Premiere and my old DT - when I set up SP in those they identified it just fine and set to record. Not my Roamio. if I mark new & old it would pick things up. But that does not explain all the missed shows. One, on the Sundance channel, I did new & old, I could manually set it but the Roamio will not note any shows via the One Pass. So I have missed several. What used to me an occasional, rare annoyance is now much of the time under Roamio. What am I missing???
