Volume and Mute buttons

Hi Guys

Anyone ever got this to work. I tried on LG 42PX4D and a Pioneer Kuro (PDP-5020FD)

The power on/off and input buttons work fine, but can't get volume/mute to work on either

Anyone got a code that works for either of these?
