I had (key word) a media pc I would use to watch my tivo files from and it worked beautifully for years. I made these recordings with my old tivohd that my buddy gave me. Fast Forward to friday, I come home and find my media pcs hard drive making a ticking noise and it won't boot up...long story short. Dead os. Now comes my biggest fear, I dont have that media access key anymore from that old tivohd, Is there some way in blue hell I could get it? I tried called tivo and from what I gather the only way he can help me is if I had the info from my buddy but I don't. Infact I don't even talk to him anymore so it isn't even an option to have him call up. Am I totally SOL?
