I'm writing this post in the hopes that it can help someone out. I just spent 3 hours with the cable guy...
Last night, Charter pushed the update to double everyone's download speeds. Great! I woke up to a cable modem that would no longer work. To make a very long story short, of the Holland MOCA splitters (2-2150 MHz, from Amazon) that I own (two 4-ways, and two 2-ways), none would allow the cable modem to work, with or without a PoE filter in place. However, swapping to the 5-1002 MHz default splitters worked fine.
So I figured this would break my MOCA network -- but no! --- my Roamio and my Mini talk to each other fine and both are online (Netflix works great).
Has anyone experienced MOCA working on lower (cable) frequencies?
