I have a older Premier 2 tuner model that I am not using anymore and my wife has a 4 tuner Premier with a hard drive extender.
My question can I copy the 2 tuner old drive to a 2 TB new drive make sure it work and then put it in the 4 tuner Tivo without the extender and should it come up and work?
If I mess up my wife's Tivo I would be in trouble. I think the drive or extender is going out it locks up about once a week.
