Replace hard drive but now will not record

My hard drive went completely dead. Had an image that was compatible shared and rebuilt Tivo. Everything works fine on the Tivo and it paired with cable cards.

But it will not record. If watching a show and hit record button get menu but red light will not come on and it will not record.

Unplugged and plugged back in but did not help.

Any help much appreciated.
