Issues with TiVo app and iPad Air 2

I have a iPad Air 2 that has been a constant issue with streaming / downloading shows in the TiVo app since I bought it. My wife’s iPad Air has no issues.



My setup:



Roamio

Xfinity internet 125 down 7 up.

Asus RT-N66U router (firewall off, QOS off.)



Occasionally when attempting to stream I get this message:



"Problem Streaming" You are experiencing low bandwidth.



Transferring shows is painful. It starts out strong (2-3 MBS a second) but then drops to .25 MB a second. Shows can take 3-4 hours to download often times having to restart the app several times.



I have already exchanged the iPad with Apple thinking it was an issue with the hardware.



Any ideas?
