I decided to take advantage of the lifetime service upgrade special last month after receiving an email from TiVo. I purchased a 3TB Bolt+, received the unit late last week and set it up on Sunday. Today (Tuesday) I put the unit in standby and then unplugged it so that I could add a battery back up/surge protector to the unit along with the rest of my electronic gear.
