I'm new to Tivo with a Roamio Plus and am waiting for the cable company to come out and remove the filter, install the cablecard and get me good to go. In the meantime I've been reading the user's manual and I'm a bit concerned about conflicts.
It seems that if I have a show that won't record at the first time it is run because its priority is lower than some others scheduled at the same time, that I have to correct the conflict.
Coming from Dish/Direct, conflict resolution is automagic. Since most cable type shows are repeated ad nauseum, the sat DVRs will just schedule the next non-conflicting showing of the episode. Frankly I can't imagine a multi-tuner DVR that doesn't do that.
So will it or won't the Tivo handle conflict resolution automatically??
