I have determined in my working through Tivo tech support that I can not use Moca. I am a Uverse internet only customer and have Directv. I am looking to cut the cord and have purchased a Tivo Ota. I have upgraded the hard drive (thanks to the info I got on this site). All is working well with my Tivo.
I am just waiting for the end of March madness to call Directv and cancel my subscription with them.
I am wanting to add a mini to the upstairs tv and am trying to decide whether to use powerline adapters or use a wireless solution to accomplish this.
I can run a cat5 cable over to the Roamio. I don't want to go to the trouble of running cat5 to the upstairs tv.
I suspect there are those of you that are either using wireless or powerline adapters to do this. I want to choose the best possible solution.
Thanks in advance for your help.
