Tivo now has an ad for One Pass in the main menu. Watch the video and it says this new and expanded version of Season Pass says it will find both broadcast and streaming episodes of shows - INCLUDING AMAZON PRIME!
Yet, still no Amazon Prime on Tivo. Maybe somebody who produces these ads doesn't know what Prime is. Maybe they don't know that Tivo doesn't have it. Maybe they just lie compulsively like Brian Williams.
Funny how Amazon can get Prime on their apps for Roku and other stand-alone streaming boxes - but not Tivo. Maybe the problem isn't Amazon but Tivo. Maybe they don't want Prime. Maybe they'd rather collect commissions on people ordering stuff a la carte. Maybe they have a deal with Netflix. Follow the money.
