Recordings stop, "acquiring signal"

Hey everyone.



I've actually been on the forums for awhile but I think my username was deleted somehow. But I appreciate your help in this matter.



About a month ago, there we're some issues with all Tivo's and Cox providers in Southern California and it had to do with the tuning adapter. Essentially, it would not allow tuner required channels (blank screen) or it would force the tivo into a endless loop of reboots. This was fix with a recent patch.



After the fix (took awhile and I thought it was my hardware), my box now has to acquire a signal every now and then only on tuner required channels. Because of that, it stops my recordings and doesn't continue to record. Beyond annoying especially when you're at work or leave the house. Essentially, it's not reliable.



Has anyone head of any updates? I will let Tivo know, but my Tivo hasn't operated properly for the last 6 weeks.
