I thought there was a thread on this already, and then I realized I was reading the thread about the Boston Marathon. When I opened up that thread and started in where I had left off, the first post I saw had this quote in it:
So -- I was lucky, I guess, that I binge-watched Torchwood quickly enough that I left enough space between it and Broadchurch to not get much cognitive dissonance from seeing Eve Myles again. I had heard the casting news and seen all the promos, so the fact that she was in it was no surprise; I just didn't know who she was playing. Plus there have been some years in between, so it's not like watching something she shot immediately after Torchwood anyway.
It was a bit of a mistake to not re-watch Broadchurch S1 after watching Gracepoint, though.
What did everyone think of episode 1?
If we can, let's stick to the US air date in this thread, like we did in the Downton Abbey thread. I didn't have the other means to watch it in on the UK schedule.
