Any way to play recorded shows automatically, consecutively?

I doubt this is possible but just in case: I sometimes want to play a number of shows, e.g. episodes of a series, in a row, without having to load each new show every time the previous one ends. Is there any way to do this? Admittedly I'd like to do this when I'm trying to fall asleep and would like to queue up a few 1/2 hour shows in a row.
