I've been using a TiVo Roamio Plus and TiVo Mini successfully for more than a year with a Moca network. I have one Actiontec ECB2500C connected to a cable outlet and then ethernet to my router. Internet was coming from AT&T Uverse. Today I replaced Uverse with Comcast Internet. The only change to the system inside was to add a Motorola cable modem to a splitter shared with the Actiontec. Outside Comcast did some changes at the utility pole.
The realization that I had a problem was that we could not delete programs on the Roamio. It was then that I checked and discovered that the coax light on the Actiontec was not lit. I verified that cables and splitters were OK, and the light remains out no matter where I plug the Actiontec in. Taking the cable modem out also has no effect. I temporarily set the Roamio up to network over wifi, but of course the Mini will not work this way so that is only a short-term fix.
Indications are that something in the Comcast signal is causing this, but what can I do about it? Is there anything that I can ask Comcast to do. Any help here would be super welcome
