Moca - Mini will not connect to Tivo Premiere

I have a Tivo Mini as well as a Tivo Premiere Series 4. I'm attempting to connect them via Moca. I followed a great guide found on this forum. It appears that the Mini finds the network because it can connect to the Tivo services. However, before the setup completes the Mini says that it needs to connect to a compatible DVR. Tivo customer support says that I need to either have an XL or just get a new Romio. The Premiere is running just as it should. Right now I have the coax(from outside) coming directly into a POE filter then into a Moca splitter. My Motorola Surfboard(SBG-6782) creates the Moca network and can see both Tivo boxes. The Premiere has an ActionTec Moca adapter and receives an internet connection. I'm just having trouble connecting the Mini. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
