This week's episode of The Flash showed a promo that included characters from the "Arrow" series. (They're in the same universe and have done cross-overs before.)
I knew they were introducing the Ray Palmer character, but in the comics he's "The Atom" and has the ability to both shrink and control his weight (so in miniature he might or might not have his full weight and strength).
The promo made him look like a poor excuse for Iron Man, and he seemed to be flying.
Does this version of Palmer not have the ability to shrink? And what's with the suit? (I've also heard this is the second one they've put him in... Details please?)
