Getting a 4 Channel Roamio and a Mini to talk over FIOS/Moca

I am a Verizon FIOS customer and I'm transitioning from the FIOS multi-room DVR to a Tivo solution. To that end, I have ordered the 4 Channel Roamio, a Tivo Mini and a cable card from Verizon.

After placing my order, I realized that the 4 channel Roamio doesn't have the capability to setup a Moca network. But Tivo says that if I have FIOS, I already have a Moca network, so maybe this isn't a problem. I'm not sure. I have both a Coax cable and CAT5 available in the room where the Roamio will live but only Coax going to the Mini location. I can't quite piece together from the documentation whether or not I have everything I need or not. My question is, will either of the following work:
  1. Roamio connected to network via CAT5, Mini connected via Coax using FIOS Moca network.
  2. Roamio and Mini both connected to FIOS Moca network via Coax
The Tivo documentation says the base Roamio cannot be used to setup a Moca network but can it be used to connect to the already established FIOS Moca network? It's unclear. If not, if one device is on the network via CAT5 and the other is on via FIOS Moca, will they be able to find and talk to each other?

I'll figure out the answers to these questions myself once my equipment arrives later this week but I'd like to get a head start if I need to order anything else. Specifically, if I need some sort of Moca adapter, I'd prefer to order it now. Can anyone provide any guidance?
