A few days ago I dropped off my cable company DVRs and bought a new Roamio and a used Premiere. I love the user interface and guide compared to the cable company, but one thing I miss is the better channel names the cable company guide displays for locals vs. the TIVO.
Example:
TIVO displays ME-TV as WESHDT2 on the guide. Brighthouse's guide shows ME-TV. Is there an option for us to edit the channel names for our TIVO guide? Having the channel name we use every day is easier to find and locate shows than remembering all of the actual channel FCC name. It's only the locals and sub-locals which display like this. All cable channels already display normally on the TIVO guide. TNTHD, USAHD as examples.
Any insight on this?
