Some more movement in this episode - we can sort of see a light at the end of the tunnel with the two SHIELDs, although it's probably not going to be simple. Great dynamics between Fitz and Simmons as well.
Notable reveals in the show (that I can recall):
Raina has a "gift" that is yet to be discovered
Deathlok has been working in the background for Coulson, and has some nice upgrades.
The door to Banner's house takes an hour to get through with a battering ram
Coulson now has a quinjet
Simmons gave Fitz Fury's toolbox
And my prediction from a few weeks ago was right: Skye's mom is still alive, although she has some pretty gnarly scars.
I'm still waiting for them to show "Mr. Hyde" actually doing his thing. I'm also interested to see Skye destroy an entire mountain. I can't wait to see what Raina can actually do.
Skye being at "Afterlife" is also a neat way to explain why, during the events of Age of Ultron, a person as powerful as Skye is nowhere to be found. She could technically destroy an army of Ultron-bots with ease.
One more episode before AoU, so they are really pushing things along. Some one mentioned in a previous episode that the twins (Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) might be inhumans, and given the trouble they seemed to be having with their powers at the end of Winter Soldier, that might be right. I was reminded of how similar their scene was to Gordon's after his transition. Hydra might have found a way to activate them without the use of the mist. This would mesh nicely with what we've seen on the show, and introduce (even vaguely) to the MCU audience the idea of the Inhumans. Watchers of AoS might have some nice inside knowledge in that respect.
Interestingly, based on the previews and the episode title, it looks like next week's episode will be:
