I'm using Tivo Desktop Plus 2.8.2 on a Windows 7-64 computer with a Series 3 HD TiVo. I have a bunch of recordings on the PC, and haven't used the software much lately, but when I look in the "Now playing on (computername)" folder on the TiVo, there are no shows at all -- the folder is empty.
The computer can see the TiVo just fine, and I just started some program transfers from the TiVo to the PC and they're proceeding perfectly.
Why are no shows appearing in the TiVo folder?
I'm trying to troubleshoot this; does anyone have a troubleshooting procedure for this?
I'm thinking it could be something like the computer's firewall blocking a critical port -- I'll try turning that off and see if it makes any difference.
