Well, yet another example of how you shouldn't bother signing up to go on TAR if you don't know how to drive a manual transmission. But it wasn't a big loss, as the two of them clearly couldn't stand each other and weren't good competitors, so they're lucky they made it as far as they did. But I can't believe they just gave up and took a cab. How long would you have to practice before you could at least get the car moving? 20-30 minutes, tops?
Once again, Haley shows what a wench she is. I loved when Tyler was sitting on the car, waiting for someone to show up with the fanny pack, and even he said he'd rather be in his position than in Blair's.
Speaking of Tyler, I'm kind of surprised they didn't get some kind of penalty for losing their passports, and I'm also surprised Jeff and Jackie didn't do something to make it more difficult or use it as a bargaining chip. Maybe at least try to get a hint for completing the task or something. I was pretty impressed with how well Laura handled that whole thing. Can you imagine how Haley would berated Blair if Blair had lost their passports?
